#5

The research project was a major component of this module. I have spent hours doing this project with my group members. The experience of doing this project with my group members comprising of Alvin and Huiling was definitely a very positive one. Our leader, Alvin, was very fair in dedicating equal amount of workload for the project to everyone. Our teamwork was great as everyone does their part and contributes tremendously to the project.
We have encountered minor issues too along the journey of doing the project. We have a tough time deciding when to meet for the project as our timetable was very different. Therefore it was hard to find a suitable timing for the discussion. Nevertheless, Huiling as a secretary wrote down all our timetable and set a date and time for our discussion. It was hard to decide the venue as well since each of us live in different parts of Singapore. School is often our meeting place for discussion.
I started to know more about Alvin and Huiling while doing this project. We have definitely built interpersonal relationship with each other. Each of us was very understanding especially the period when we were all having our midterm exams. I have time off from the project to study and prepare for our exams while they continue doing the project. I do my part in return when they are having their midterm exams as well.
Overall, the experience of doing this research project was really positive! Thanks to Alvin and Huiling! =)

Thank you very much, Jason, for the reflection. I'm glad that your group proved to be cohesive and that you found the experience to be positive. Cheers!

Seems like even in a short period of time, you can get to know your team mates well. This is very important for any team that wants to work together well. Not knowing someone or not liking someone in the team is a major problem in most teams today. All problems should be voiced out otherwise it will just build up and explode overtime.

Yes difficult to arrange, but somehow must do so. Have to compromise or make sacrifices if the project is to go well. But coordination and support helps, like in your group.

hi Travis

It is definitely better to be more open and honest with your team mates as to avoid any miss understanding.

hi sharon,
I guess it is about give and take in short compromise.
